PREFACE: WHERE I GO BANG ON EVERY DOOR

Greetings, True Gamesters, Lolita Nationalists, and other such friends of the Family (and its dearly-missed patriarch above all).  If you found your way here (or read the words at the top of the page), you surely know that this blog is dedicated to the work and life of the great Scott Miller.  The whys and what-fors of the blog will be revealed in short order; until then, I begin by sharing the edition of my radio program (Wednesdays @ 11 pm PT - streams live here) which aired the night of the day his passing was announced; a tribute to the songs Scott Miller wrote, performed, and loved.  (The non-Scott items, as you will see, were all cited in his wonderful, essential book, Music: What Happened?)  I really only scratched the surface of his life's work - I could easily have gone all night and thought seriously of doing so (as it was, I broke about six different broadcast rules in doing this show, but if any one person deserved an honorary act of rebellion, however limp...), but, if you stick around as this thing progresses, you'll see me - well, scratch some more, if nothing else.  More soon - until then, please listen and (hopefully) enjoy...
